Just wondering if anyone’s tinnitus has cleared yet? Unlike everyone else who seems to have a high pitch ringing sound, my noise isn’t. What I have found is most of the tinnitus is caused by some injury or inflammation to the ear so that it will not properly send signals to the brain. I’ve given them a more thorough clean, and the left ear is fine now, however the right ear has got worse, there’s a ringing sound I can permanently hear, like the sound you get when you’ve just got out of a nightclub and you’re still buzzing. And it might be slightly quieter than my left ear (which is fine), but im finding I have to wear earplugs now because things seem more piercing in it. It’s not THAT muffled. I don’t understand why there isn’t more awareness and promotion of hearing protection in the rock-music world. The older musicians who can’t hear anymore ought to seriously warn the younger ones!
