I have been on paxil for nearly 6 months (30mg), dropped to (20mg) about 2 months ago and then to (10mg), I gradually cut down about 3 weeks ago, with 4 days ago been the last dose! However, I have felt shocking for over a week, head zaps and hear like a buzzing, my heart jumps every 2 mins! sweats, shivers, headaches, toilet troubles and nausea. I have been off for 6 weeks and crazy train started, have a consent ringing in my ears and bad head aches. My ears have been ringing non-stop for the duration of my Paxil taper (approximately three weeks). It is very upsetting and, as previously mentioned, much more noticeable when I am in bed or there is no background noise. Since then my life has never been the same, even now 6 years later, I suffer debilitating symptoms daily, I have never had a full day without some symptom of WD. The insomnia from Paxil WD for me was horrible! I did not start showing any WD symptoms until two weeks after stopping the Lexapro completely. I wake up to ringing in my ear. a swishing in my head and dizziness.

I’m going to give it a week than up to 20mg.

I have already been off work for 3 weeks without pay because I can not drive or stand for long periods of time. My second and equally horrible experience has been the withdrawal effects that are causing SEVERE VERTIGO. I had to stop taking this drug because of a brain injury. I was on Cymbalta for approximately 6 months for fibromyalgia. I have ringing in my ears all of the time. The maximum daily dose of 450 mg should not be exceeded. Some drugs, such as Ativan, Halcion or Xanax, should be used cautiously, if at all, with Wellbutrin, because stopping them suddenly may make some people more vulnerable to seizures. Since I’ve been taking bupropion 150 mg I have chest discomfort and aches and headaches the headaches are not to bad but I don’t have any appetite at all. I also get fluctuating degrees of ringing in my ears.

I have been on many courses of Prednisone over the duration, but this time I have been very anxious, depressed, have put on weight, aching joints and a RED ITCHY SWOLLEN FACE which my doctor believes it is from taking Prednisone.
